The LAST time.

We are inside the ONE WEEK countdown. SCARY! But good scary. We are having our Bon Voyage party on Saturday afternoon. Local people should have received an Evite by now, if not, get a hold of us for details. Sunday is THE day we will head south, to another country, to another life, to a place where the beer flows like wine. A little place called MEH-HE-CO. YOLO should be looking quite a bit different than when I left her a few weeks ago. New bottom paint, new upper and waterline paint stripes, freshly buffed and waxed hull, polished stainless steel deck fittings, lifelines, etc! VERY exciting!

These past few weeks we have been doing a lot of stuff for “the last time.”  Presley went to school for the last time this past Friday. Colter is attending school today for the last time. I drove to the airport, for work, for the last time on Sunday.  I am two days away from driving an airplane for the last time. Courtney was an unpaid taxi driver to the kids, for the last time today.  I am writing this blog post for the last time as a DREAMER. Sunday morning we awaken and begin living the dream as DOERS.

I read your post just now and I feel like crying. I am happy and sad all at the same time! I don’t know anyone like you two. Only in the movies! I think you are special. I will commit to pray for you and your family always. God Bless you. GG

    Awesome. Congrats to you both.

I think you might have set a record for two people who decided to go sailing and did it. Compared to you, we move at a snail’s pace.

Can’t wait to see posts of the boat in the water and you guys sailing YOLO.

    Be safe,
